He began by working for his father who instructed him on the fine points of producing a top-notch job and delivering excellent customer service. What Don was taught as a young man has served him well through the years. He gets great satisfaction in seeing that jobs come out right and on time and appreciates the creativity involved in the process. Don realizes turning a job around in a tight time frame without sacrificing quality is what today’s clients want, and he’s happy to oblige. Following in familiar family footsteps, Don knows the commercial printing business, and he knows his clients.

Scott Tuft - Director of Sales and Marketing & Account Executive, Indiana
Focused on making his clients look good in print, Scott knows the commercial printing world from top to bottom.  Starting at the age of 12, he worked around his family’s printing business, and throughout his career he has learned to run the presses, operate the bindery machines, pull film, and more.  Now, as Director of Sales and Marketing for Garman Printing, and with more than 20 years on the sales side, Scott puts his technical expertise to work to help his clients achieve their goals. He also takes advantage of a variety of advanced training courses to ensure his clients receive top-notch service.

Scott Whitlock - Account Executive, Illinois

The combination of Scott’s background in graphic design and printing helps ensure accuracy at every step in the printing process thereby helping delivery delays and cost overruns. Scott is also able to help his clients with layout and design when needed.

Patsy Dreckman – Account Representative, Indiana
From sweeping the floors of her father’s pre-press company, to being named company president, Patsy literally knows the industry from the ground up.  By understanding the fundamentals of printing, Patsy ensures files are set-up correctly, and she can trouble-shoot should a problem arise. Because of her father’s business, Patsy has known Garman president, Don Wiltfong, since she was ten years old.  It is this feel of family and the spirit of teamwork that most enthuses Patsy and makes her job enjoyable.

Nan Szymkowski - Prepress Manager
Nan is Garman’s Prepress Manager; a job well suited to her love of technology.  Her interest in printing was sparked in high school, and she began her career with local trade shops where she was exposed to all aspects of graphic design, typography and printing.  A life-long learner, Nan has enjoyed the challenge of implementing the new PDFX1a workflow system at Garman. She is often called on to help Garman’s clients work through production issues that arise when readying a job for print. Nan’s strong technical ability helps reduce prepress problems and helps create a smooth in-house work-flow.
